I don't know why, but my HO engine won't work properly. It will run with a series of stops and jerks. Books reccomend lubricating the engine and cleaning the track. I've tried it, but it did not work. Please help me solve my problem and put this GP-20 back on the rails!

Bachmann locomtives unless dealing with spectrum line are junk. I reccomend taking shell and mounting it on Athearn GP9 Chassis. Some modification will mostl likely be necessary.

Thanks, but I am not that experienced. It is true, though that bachmann sucks. I might try that

There has been some 2001/02 improvements, but historically they don't enjoy a good reputation like Atlas, Kato, Lifelike, Athearn, Walther's Trainline etc. James, The Challenger gave, a loco ranking week or so ago and it's darn good evaluation.
