Is there some way I can fasten O-27 track to styrofoam? I have styrofoam on top of ply wood for a scenery base and sound deadening technique. I could probably get long enough screws to drill into the ply wood instead. Is there any other ideas I could use? -Thanks

Screwing into the plywood sub-base will eliminate any sound deadening that you would get from the styrofoam as the sound WILL travel thru the screw's and be amplifyed by the wood.

Better off useing "homeasight" road bed(old ceiling tile's)screwed to the plywood,so that the screw head's are just below the top of the road bed. Then hold the track in place with glued ballast.
