I am trying to restore an old train set. I have had the engine cleaned and it runs. I have replaced all the old track with the new type but I still have problems. Sometimes it will go great in reverse and hardly go forward. Other times it just sits? Can it be the original transformer is bad even though I had it checked right off? HELP
