I just got through watching the movie, "RIDING THE BULLET", a book by Stephen King (which I had read a few years ago), on television.

The story takes place in 1969, and at one point, the story's main character, Alan Parker, walks across a railroad track after a freight train passes.

The freight train consists of double decker container cars, and there is no caboose.

Remember, this is supposed to be 1969, when cabooses were still the norm, and double decker container cars were not yet being used.

It reminded me of another editing mistake that I saw in a movie shown in our theatre here at the Ol' Soldiers' Home, "AND STARRING PANCHO VILLA AS HIMSELF" (http://www.hbo.com/films/panchovilla/).

In that movie, which takes place in 1914, there's a Mexican railroad train with the correct vintage steam locomotive and tender pulling contemporary steel, corrugated box cars with cushion suspension!

Can you believe the editor of a major motion picture production being that sloppy?

Can you all think of some Hollywood movies or television shows you saw which incorrectly depicted railroad equipment?
