I recently purchased the same engine, Chicago & Northwestern. I am also looking for dummy locos. I have noticed the mfg websites don't have them, nor do ads that I have seen in Model Railroader mag. I'm interested in what you learn.
Also, I purchased used track just to get started and I am looking for input on the relative merits of different track.

I also got a new engine, The Louisville & Nashville Proto 2000 E-6A, but when I run it,the motor starts to "smoke" I smell it, but I don't know what's wrong with it. Can anyone help?
