Does anyone know if and where I can find some color photos of Clinchfield steam locomotives in their original, i.e. not excursion trains, livery? Or does anyone, by chance, know what colors were used on Clinchfield locos and tenders for the road name and number?

Any help would be great, thanks.

Bob

Bob,
Check with the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, CO. I believe their website is www.crrm.org. I know that in the past they have had several good books on the Clinchfield RR.

Bob,
It may depend on the period you are interested in, but as Scott points out the Colorado Railroad Museum is a great resource. You may also want to try http://trainboard.com to see if any of the folks on the forum can help...I think there may even be a Clinchfield forum there. Good luck, let us know what you find, and Happy Modeling!!
