Jesse, First off I suggest you pick up a good scenery book at your local RR hobby store. That will have complete how -to descriptions and photos. Most landscaping is done with some sort of plaster over a frame technique. Any good book will give several options. I've personally used several divfferent materials and methods and find good aplications for all the different methods. Hydrocal-a kind of plaster is probably the strongest but is also the heaviest. Plaster of paris, drywall taping compound, etc. all work well and have advantages and disadvantages. Read up a little and then we can help you with more specific questions. If you understand German, you will find some helpful books at www.faller.de/literatur. Nearly everything needed is available from Faller, a manufacturer of model RR accessories in the Black Forest. Books and other items are distributed by Walthers / Milwaukee.
