Can anyone suggest an appropriate detail part? I am doing hobbytown conversions of 3 Alco Models ALCO C-628s. The handrail stanchions of all three tend to break off at the solder joint to the deck all too often. Does anyone know of a brass or other metal detail part that represents an ALCO style stanchion that is long enough to be inserted into a hole in the deck and then soldered so as to be stronger.
