My N-scale layout has progressed to the stage where I now am constructing about a scale mile or so of 4 lane, interstate-style highway. There's plenty out there on railroad construction, not much on the competition! Any hints or tips on N-scale highway construction? Styrene? Posterboard? Poured plaster (a la woodland scenics?). I have a foam scenery base, and sub-roadbed of 1/4" foam where the highway will run. Due to the amount of highway, and the need to spend the big $ on the railroad, price is a concern too. Thanks!

Hi Jesse,

If I remember right, Model Railroader
Magazine did an article on just that subject about 4 to 5 years ago. Try thier web site.
and look in their article index. There is also a company that advertises in the Model Railroader that makes a paving product. Haven't a clue of the name check some old
issues of train magazines.

Hope this helps
