Man...that is a tall order !! I would think about compressing by cutting the number of stalls by at least half (do you really need all those stalls anyway ??) Maybe instead of both car halls, build only one? Good luck and Happy Modeling!!

A W.P. 4-8-8-4 is about 135' long. That's about 18.5 real inches. (IN H.O.) Check one of JOHN ARMSTRONG'S ideas about track planning squares,(Creative layout Design, or Track Planning for Realistic Operation) ALSO I have a copy of a book called 101 Track Plans For Model Railroaders. IN it there's a plan for a Large turntable roundhouse complex that's in a corner. It's gonna work for me , although I don't envision a BIG-BOY visiting the W.P./Siwimi in the forseeable future. Stand and see what you envision, Build it, Change it ,thay's the fun. You can do this, Just consider that the sand , fuel , inspection, ash and stuff I haven't thought of yet need space too. Good Luck, and don't forget about squares. Bobby

Would it be possible for you to post a copy of the trackplan you're trying to represent?
This would make it easier to make constructive comment. It really is a tall order but it sounds like it could be done. Does your space only allow for those dimentions?
Model on,
Scott
