just checking the place out >im into H.O scale myself ,building a 12x10 layout now
50s ,60s era.have mainly steam locos most of them about 65 to 36 years old now .12 in fleet 1 needs gear drive replaced.no luck finding ,mantua 0-4-0 ??

Cant help bad taste (HO) *W*....

Is it your first layout? or like a heap of people lately, geting back into it after many years?

On the other list and this one I see so many people getting back into trains after 20 odd yrs...

Welcome to the site. I've been the hobby for about 15 years, and I too would think it a poor world without model RR's. Working on a 14x40' layout representing the Pueblo / Salida division of the D&RGW. This is my fourth layout and am just starting the scenery phase.

my new layout is not any real or true road name. all mix mainly steam ,i have 1 santa fe
pass.set complete ,its 62 years old.and 4 of the 12 are plastic .so its my made up world with a up state new york look to it.2nd level will be the trolly so Ill run 5 engines. that will be the max i can run at one time
