Scott: Thanks, for your last reply. I looked in Modelrailroader and found a couple of people doing paint work @ about $35.00 an engine-shell. One, in particular, had a web site(marrkpaint@msn.com), I'm going to check this out. Does $35.00 sound about right, for each piece??? By the way, I've got a model railroad video:"Sierra Pacific Lines", the Pasadena Model Railroad Club, Inc. In this video, they feature a 30 car-tank train, pulled by 4 Rio Grande geeps. It,s really nice to see a layout like that, but realistically, I'd have a layout like that, "In my dreams"!!!!! Richard

Richard, $35 is a reasonable for custom painting and decaling, particularly if the decal scheme is fairly complex. I used to be an operating member of the Sierra Pacific Lines! Used to have to spend a lot of time in LA on business and I'd spend a couple of nights a week over there. The video doesn't do the RR justice even though it's a good video. It's really somthing to see. If you ever get a in that area you should really check it out. Have a good one. Scott
