Does anybody know how I can go about having walk-around cabs, for 4 different, individual main lines. Currently, I'm using a transformer for each track. Is there any way I can use one large power source supply, to run 4 different hand-held controllers, one for each of my 4 main lines. I built a layout made up of two-double main lines, so I could run 4 different trains at one time. I like the idea of the walk-around controls, so you can move to different areas of the layout to view different things. I bought a MRC Controlmaster 20, thinking I might be able to somehow power 4 lines with individual walk-around cabs....Wrong...There is only one space on the transformer to plug-in a cab-control. What can I do to solve this problem. I can't see buying 4 separate transformer-cab units.

I'm afraid having four seperate "cabs" or power sources is the only way to have individule control of four different tracks.
You can hook up one power unit to more than one track(as long as the tracks don't make physical contact,or are electricaly isolated, somewhere)but what happens on one track is what happens on the other. You can however check a train shows and the classifides of the model rr mags and come up with some good used equipment.
