Looking for a steam era C & O caboose, O ga., 3 rail, or info. on colors and lettering in case I have to build my own. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure how fussy you are for proper timeframe. Atlas 0 make some of the best detailed cars on the market. They have several cabooses with extended vision coupolas (Maybe to modern for you???)

If you can live with this style, the finish and detail is great. Even the roof comes off to show the full interior! They have a beautiful c&o unit.

Since you did specify steam era, make sure you look at their wood side reefers. Absolutely steam era and great cars. Fine detail though. Not for kids of the fumble fingered to play with!
