Hi Richy. I'm afraid if you want to turn trains around you'll at least need 4 ft. to do a 180 degree turn. To just turn 90 degrees, as low as 2ft. won't be a problem. I hope this helps. If not I'm sure one of the other members will correct me or give some feedback.
