I just looked at a picture of the "Goose" and it shows it as 4-4-4. I've got a 2-6-0 with the 2 spoked. That's not really enough to help, but I'll keep my eyes open. I'm really interested because I'm in the process of bashing one. I'm initially interested in making something that will run on the trax, THEN, maybe I can make one that looks right. I use a motor from a slot car that fits right inside a bus body. I'm not real sharp so I'll settle to get it to run with 4 wheels. How are you doing yours? I could sure use some help. I'm retired, over 70, and $$ don't come easy.

Hey Lynn, For my attempt at a Goose click on the Link at the bottom of this reply. It takes you to my web page and when you get there, click on "A Dusey HO" So far I've found about 15 different types of Geese! Some are old Buick bodies, some Packard, Pierce Arrow and school buses, Even a one 29 Chevy with a flat bed. The version I'm building is a 4-4 with a Dusenberg body. But to make it look correct I need to find spoked wheels for at least the front.

Hi all, I'm still trying to locate some spoked wheel sets for the front. NWSL seems a likely place so I need to get a catalog an take a look. Also, I'm in need of a brass bell for the front end. Everything I've seen is to large or way to small. I'm hoping that NWSL has something. Rich

Hi Lynn, Don't know if this helps an old guy like you as I am nearly a young man at 65 years. Mine motor system started out life as a Bachmann Cable car, which had spoked wheels. I hacked about the chassis, and got the damn thing to run okay. That was the hard part, making the rest wasn't too bad. It is interesting to note you are using a slotcar for the motoring side of it, I must admit, I never gave that a thought, might take a look at one.
