As I had already made a Galloping Goose, I thought about a Firetruck which might be needed. (Just in case) So I set about making one for the Badger Creek Lumber Co. Couldn't call it a Galloping Fire truck as this one cannot gallop anywhere, it's just a static model, so I came up with a Waddling Fire truck.

As a matter of interest to me, did any logging companies have such a truck and tender similar to mine, or, is mine just a one off.

Shamus,

Nice work, as usual, how does the truck move? Motor and R/C? Hand push? I think some lumber companies had vehicles like yours only a little more simpler. Like a hand car-propelled. I have a feeling though lumber companies would buy this in a second. At the rate you're going, every vehicle in the country will be able to run on rails...ha!

Shamus, you never cease to amaze me. Your Waddling Duck is truly great.
I've got a question, tho. On the Goose front wheels, and on your fire truck and trailer, how do you get the wheels mounted? All the cars, etc., have bearings on the outside, so how do you do yours? I got mine to work, sorta, but I'm not happy with the mounting.

Lynn
