Hi All,
Over the last 50 years I have built either for myself or other people, 40 plus layouts.
I have built many in N-scale and HO for myself with my Badger Creek Lumber Company being
still in existence having just re-vamped it a little. Over the last 10 years I have had
30+ articles published around the globe, with 11 in Model Railroading magazine in the
USA., 13 in Continental Modeller (UK) and numerous in the NMRA Roundhouse (British Region)
I thought I would show some of my earlier layouts 7 in all with three photo’s from each.

Shamus...

Thanks, for all those wonderful, layout photos! Your work is in a class of it's own!
I should be so blessed, to have any layout look like those you have produced over your lifetime! You are a marvelous, modeller, with the charm and grace of a true, gentleman.
The gifts, God has given you, are well demonstrated in all these works.
Sharing them with the world is, most, kind as well as generous!

God Bless you, Paul Templar.

Your friend, in North Carolina.....

...Richard

Hello friend, how the hell are you, been away?
I will let you into a secret, my first ever scenic layout was a total disaster, spent a lot of time and effort for nothing. It looked terrible, track ballasting was a mess, the scenery was just plaster impregnated cloth and flocked with some grass, the trees were wire brushed. GOD, I had to do something about it FAST. So I asked hundereds of questions at my club, and got some not so good answers all the time but, I learnt the hard way, time and money wasted. Now thank God, I can pass on what I have learnt to people like yourself and others so maybe a good layout can be had from the start.
Keep in touch Richard. Love to see some photo's

Shamus
