Does anyone know where I can find 0-27 gauge switches that are not made by Lionel? I need a few that are different and have small signals on them - not wide. My hot metal car won't clear the corner, pass the switch signal.

You might try K-Line. The reason your hot metal cars hit on the Lionel Switches is that they are O-Guage (O-31).
