I own a ALCO F3A, and a PA1 ABA, i like to build passenger cars for these engines. What cars do i need for these engines? Does anybody now where i can get the plans to build the right cars? I have to tell you that the F3A is one from B&O and the Pa1's are from the PRR company! Maybe anybody can tell me what kind off cars i need?

Unless you are refering to the ALCO company that built brass locomotive models, you must mean an EMD F3. As far as cars, that is entirely dependant on the roads you model. The PA's would look beautiful pulling some smooth-side streamliners or heavyweights, or corrugated side cars, such as the Budd streamliners. They were also used to pull older coaches, but not as often. The same goes for the F3's, although, unless equipped with steam generator details, you passengers might become dissatisfied. I am currently in the process of cataloging my MR issues, with numerous cross-references. While I cannot legally make cd-rom or dvd copies of the magazines, I can make a library system to my own specifications. As soon as this is complete, I will have a complete listing of anything available.

Kennedy Model Trains is entirely correct. For these locomotives a broad range of options is a vailable. However, I can tell you that all the cars that were made after the advent of Amtrak are inappropriet. That means unfortunatly that Walther's fine line of Amtrak cars has to be excluded. However their line of Buddd Passenger Cars would look great. IHCs line of scale passenger cars would also look great.
