I do repairs for a local hobby shop. I wonder if anyone out there has ever tried to get a Hallmark SP C24 2-8-0 apart? I'm trying to install a DCC decoder in one & while the boiler comes loose & partway up, the motor is bigger than the bottom of the firebox & it won't fit thru! This is a beautiful model-- like a big piece of jewelry-- but unless I can get the boiler off to rewire the motor & headlight I'm stalled. I'll be glad to return the favor to anyone who may know the secret of getting this little gem apart. Thanks! Bob
