I’ve noticed on some of the other Yahoo railroad groups there is a substantial interest in livestock transportation, meat packing plants, stock cars and meat reefers. This probably is due to the fact that livestock and meat transportation used to be a very big business for the railroads.

This group covers any railroad in any part of the country, plus the nation’s meat packing business. So for those of you interested in livestock transportation, meat packing and the railroad operations and infrastructure related to these, let's have at it.
