I am trying to find a detailed map on the internet of the route that the Rocky Mountaineer takes from Vancouver, B. C. to Jasper, Alberta through the Canadian Rockies. I would like to see a map that shows the various mile markers on the Canadian Rockies route.

Does anyone know of a website that has a route map for the Canadian Rockies?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Ken

For a story of the train going to Calgary of CP Rail click below.

http://www.trainbweb.org/chris/Trip_Rocky.html

East from Vancouver the train is on the CN until eastbound it changes to CP Rail crossing over the fraser River to reach the CP Mainline which it takes east until Bosques where it rejoins the CN again. Westbound the train uses the CN all the way. At North Kamloops the train takes a branch into Kamloops where it beds for the night.
The Jasper csection then heads north back to the CN mainline for the rest of its trip to Jasper,
while the Banff and Calgary section then gets to the CP mainline for its trip east.

I hope this helps

Chris
