Mr. Tristan Cunningham, rail/transit fan has created the petition on the "photography of trains" ban. Please read it and consider signing it, here is the direct link to the petition :

After some research into the matter, I signed. I added in the comments that railfan photographers provide extra eyes and ears for security, at no extra cost to taxpayers. They're the good guys and should be treated as allies, not criminals.
