I'm a "newbie' in this Forum...Hello to all you railroad enthusiasts. What a joy to find so much information and a place to ask questions. My railroading interest comes through several generations starting from my greatgranddad who was a stationmaster on the old Monan Railroad in Illinois... my granddad was born in the station's 2nd floor residence, and although he did not pursue his early desire to fire on the engines, he passed his interest down to me. My mother not only enjoyed steamers but after my father died, married a former valvesetter on the D, L & W in New Jersey. They hit every tourist RR east of the Mississippi River! Now I spend as much time as possible chasing steam trains in as many states as I can get to in my fifth wheel trailer. keep up steamin', badkatt68
