New member; first post! Lifetime interest in model railroading inherited from Dad who started me in HO. Lived in Germany for 10 years and dabbled with Marklin sets. Now.....no room to spare for anything though buying N scale "for the future". Attend local train shows at the State Fairgrounds. Experienced 1st cross country Amtrak trip this past June...Baltimore to Olympia, WA via Chicago and Seattle and return....rode the Cardinal and Empire Builder. Outstanding!!
