Hello:My name is Lee Wright. I have been building 1/8 scale models for about 20 years. the next project I want to start is a 48 foot gunderson double stack stand alone car. I contacted gunderson and they were nice enought to send me some specification sheets. Problem is, I need to know how the end sills are constructed. They would not give me any drawings or information on that. daaaaaa. I have driven all over the country trying to find double stack car I could take a close up photo of the under side of the ends. No luck. found every type of car but that one. there seems to be a big square tube that the side sills are attached to, to account for the square thing on the ends of the car.
