Hello:My name is Lee Wright. I have been building 1/8 scale models for about 20 years. the next project I want to start is a 48 foot gunderson double stack stand alone car. I contacted gunderson and they were nice enought to send me some specification sheets. Problem is, I need to know how the end sills are constructed. They would not give me any drawings or information on that. daaaaaa. I have driven all over the country trying to find double stack car I could take a close up photo of the under side of the ends. No luck. found every type of car but that one. there seems to be a big square tube that the side sills are attached to, to account for the square thing on the ends of the car. If any of you out there can help on this surch for information please let me know. I can also be reached at wright@indtech.it.ilstu.edu.
