Has anyone replaced the nylon Spur gear in the Bachmann Ten Wheeler with a real metal worm gear? I'm thinking about a replacement to fix the gear stripping problem.
If any one has done it what size wormgear did you use?

Nick, Sorry I can't help. Also noticed you have no responses. I have been considering a Bachmann 10 Wheeler. Is this a recurring problem? Is it a good loco, or not?
