Welcome to all!

This topic is primarily for discussion amongst the members of the Frontenac Society of Model Engineers. Having said that, anyone else who has something to add is more than welcome to share your expertise.

We are presently engaged in discussion over the construction of elevated 3 1/2"-5" gauge track as well as 7 1/4" ground level.

Hey Phil! You found it! Dave Page is having trouble getting here, I am glad to see someone managed to follow my ramblings.

When you read this, you'll see a "search box" on the upper right. The default is "Topics in the last thirty days" Click on that and you will see a list of any topics that have been created recently. Now if anyone wants to start a new thread, go ahead. We can all find them, and reply on the board.

Correction. . . you have to click on "Large Scale and Live Steam" to move up one level before you see the search box.

O.K. Dave, just to let you know that I have registered with this Forum. As you know, my interest is in stationary engines, but please let me know if I can be of any practical help when the time arises. When I was at UTDC/Bombardier, I did not get involve in trackwork, but I do know that we used 115lb rail and concrete ties. Perhaps a little too heavy for our application.
