Greetings to any and all western road conductors, enginemen/enginewomen or other knowledgeable people:

When the TPOB of a freight train is computed, I am assuming that the weight of the loco(s) is (are) included in the calculations!? Is it assumed that the locomotives have no/zero brakes because of bailoff? In shourt, how are the engine weights and brakes counted in the calculations of TPOB.

The locomotives are usually not counted as far as length or weight in most TOB equations.Just the cars.
