Chuck,What you have is a combined ALCOA, Union Pacific, and Pullman-Standard advertising coin. It was given away, but the bushel, to promote the three firms during the nationwide tour of the UP M-10000 (the first lightweight streamlined train in America, but not the first Diesel lightweight streamliner ... that's the Pioneer Zephyr).
UP ran M10000 in experimental, publicity, and revenue service until late 1941 ... she was retired and scrapped for her aluminum at the beginning of World War II.
Kratville's Union Pacific Streamliners provides a comprehensive treatment of her. Dubin's Some Classic Trains gives an overview. P-S drawings are availbale from Randal's (ed) Pullman-Standard Library, v.13.
Can you tell you've reached my absolute FAVORITE passenger train topic (save for dinner in the diner)???
