Going to Exposition Park to the museums today, and they are removing all the track, ties, etc that was hiding under the nice center landscaping...whata waste of trees. tore em all out.
the ties looked like they were never touched, they were still lined up like they did years ago. Lots of ballast was in the ground also.
The day before i was just looking at photos in a book of streamlined engines on display on this piece of track. :-(

Coach34135,
I hope you meant just the track and not the route. The MTA is trying to get the Exposition line funded and rebuilt, at least as far west as the intersection of Venice & Robertson, but I don't know the latest on that line.

I dont know any details I had taken a group of kiddos to the science museum and i saw them pulling track out and took a bunch of pics.

I hope they are gonna rehab the line, that would be nice to see light rail going thru there. There is still track north of the museums. All they took out what the bits under the landscaping.
