"Request for Color Photos of AT&SF trains on Grand Canyon Branch (late 1940s - 1985)"

I'm the historian for the Grand Canyon Railway and we're in the process of
putting together a new publication "The Grand Canyon Railway; Fifty Years
in Color." We specifically need color-only photography (slide/negatives) of
AT&SF trains from the 1940s/1950s up through June 1974 at Williams, Grand
Canyon, and/or along the Grand Canyon mainline. Passenger trains
photographed at the Williams Junction depot from 1960-1969 are also
requested. In addition, we would appreciate any rare photos of Santa Fe
freight trains operating work trains, water trains, ore, cattle or wood chip
movements on the Grand Canyon branch between 1970-1985. We will
be paying a modest stipend for each image as this will not be the most
profitable publication in the world at a first press run of 5000.
However, our goal is to make this a very attractive, all-color publication which
will fill a long-vacant historical niche that compliments the colorful history
of the Grand Canyon Railway.

If you have any images that may fill these needs and would like to participate,
please contact myself or co-author Marc Pearsall at the following emails.

We look forward to hearing from you.
