Does anyone here has information on the UP departments for entry-level positions? Also if possible, please explain the selection criteria for entry-level posrions.
Thanks.

Have not checked, but suggest you try their web site, uprr.com.

The UP has been advertising in southern Calif newspapers; look in the classifieds under "Railroad". Also check the website as mentioned above.

Note the jobs are outside working with freight car handling, and are on call 24/7.

For UPRR, you must go to careerlink.org. Even though the site says Nebraska online, UPRR posts all of their openings on it and it is their prefered method of contact. Select employers and then Union Pacific off the first page.
