Amtrak 10001 "Beech Grove" movements
Author: GenePoon
Amtrak Office Car 10001 "Beech Grove" movements:

Train 11(12OCT) Coast Starlight, Oakland-Los Angeles on 13OCT, on rear of train,
platform to rear. To be removed at LAUPT, moved to the Garden, held
for further movement.

Train 4(14OCT) SW Chied, Los Angeles-Chicago, on rear of train, platform to
rear. Apparently no express cars on train.

NOTE that the advisory does not say whether the car will be occupied
on either or both legs. Remember last year, when David Gunn went on
the San Joaquin train/bus, and "Beech Grove" deadheaded? The
Presidents' Awards ceremony in Los Angeles will be on 14OCT.

Maybe he snuck on board after all, and as the SWC bypassed Orange, ordered staff to be sure some Surfliners began stopping there next month!?
