I'm going to be going to Wellsboro and Rochelle to watch trains in a few weeks. I was wondering what times of day are best for both places? Thinking about stopping in Wellsboro first, then west to Rochelle. Appears that both cities are about 2.5 hours away from each other. Any input and help would be great!! I've never watch west of Ohio before. Thanks!

I went to Rochelle a few years ago and i was really impressed. As for busy times, all the time as i didn't see any real luls in traffic. It's a great place to go fanning, enjoy.

true..
I've been keeping an eye on the Rochelle webcam lately, and it seems like the longest quiet stretch I've seen was MAYBE 45 minutes. usually, the average time between trains was 15 to 20 minutes; maybe 30 sometimes. Early afternoon seems like the best time to be there.
