I have never heard of an "E" train inparticular "E725" I think is was an autorack.

usually that would be for an empty hopper train. racks can have q,s,l, and x symbols.

not a problem! i believe you had mentioned that you are in the baltimore area. typical of the csx symbols are b,d which are local roadswitchers. q,r,l,s can be all sorts of manifest, but racks and pigs fall in there as well. g,k are usually all one commodity, such as k650 is the juice train and g trains are grain trains. also, k can be for the rock runners, like k943 which works the hanover line. t,u, and v are usually coal trains, and e and v are used for empty coal hoppers. y of course is for yard jobs and x can be anything classified as extra or a special, such as for hi-wide shipments. last but not least, p is for passenger.
