The Wisconsin Central and the Illinois Central Railroad were acquired by Canadian National not too long ago to expand thier operations further into the US. Seeing a Wisconsin Central locomotive now is becoming a rare traet since most are being scrapped or sold off by CN as well as a few are being painted into their new owners colors.

Hope this helps
John

Man-oh-man, ain't that the truth? Perhaps even two. I suppose it is inevitable and all for the economic good of the railroads, but I was spoiled growing up in Galesburg, IL.. located on the mainlines of both the CB&Q and the AT&SF and recall E's and F's; Q's Zephyrs and the Santa Fe's fleet of passenger trains.
