I spent the morning wandering around Ocala, learning where the old SAL and ACL rails are. Had a great time and finally took a photo of Florida Central's #50. But I am not yet adept at identification.

Can anyone identify the type of engine here? TIA!

That's defninitely a CF7. Hard to believe, but it was once a "covered wagon." They were rebuilt by the Santa Fe in the 1970's from F3's, F7's, and F9's.

Just out of curiosity, how did you post that photo? I've looked for ways to post photos on this site but can't figure out how.
