I just purchased a PFM HO scale Union 0-10-2 and would like some history. I've posted the same question on URR's unofficial site and got some great replies, but I'm looking for even more information.

If you know anything about these one-of-a-kind locos please reply.

Thank you.

One of these magnificent machines on display in the B&LE's hometown of Greenville, PA. I believe it's #602(?). The local historical group takes very good care of it. I think they were built by Baldwin Locomotive Works.
Go to: www1.minn.net/~mspanton/steampix/dmir_601.jpg

for a pic of one of these engine after it was transfered to the DM&IR RR.

We take our kids up to the railroad park in Greenville pretty regularly. Here's a link to a site which has some more info on their engine 604/304: http://www.greenville-pa.com/Web_Pages/Train/G-PI-T-D.htm

And because I can't resist, here's a link to some more pictures I took a few months ago at the train park (and my 2 year old having a ball at the park): http://www.babyoctopus.com/babies/train.html
