I am using Peco switches (PL 10's & PL10W's) on my Peco Insulfrog turnouts. The power source is 16.5vac, 25va. Most of them buzz real loud when operated, some (few) click just perfectly. Does anybody know why it buzzes? Thanks.

Hi,
It buzzes because you are keeping the power on it too long. You should really be using a capacitor discharge unit, which will only allow a short burst of current to these PL10’s these CDU’s operate from either a 16volt or 24volt ac transformer and you will need either some passing contact switches or use what I use and that is a stud & probe contact on my control panel.
Cheers
Shamus
